Roger Ritchie joined SHOP.COM in 2007 as senior director of CRM responsible for all aspects of the company's CRM and email marketing strategy, including customer experience, external communication and promotions.
Previously, Ritchie directed national marketing at Virgin Entertainment Group, where he managed a corporate and field marketing
team, managed the online store at Virginmega.com, the Virgin loyalty program, CRM systems, event marketing and media buying. Prior to Virgin Entertainment, Ritchie was a regional marketing manager for Best Buy, Inc where he worked on the Los Angeles/So Cal market launch, developed and also managed the merchandising and purchasing for media in the California market.
At Baker & Taylor, Ritchie managed advertising and vendor marketing for the video and software divisions.Early in his career, Ritchie worked as a music buyer for Blockbuster/Sound Warehouse and also worked as a branch manager for a Chicago based financial institution.
Ritchie attended Southern Illinois University.
