Robert is responsible for 3i's global Consumer Sector focusing on Consumer Products, Food and Beverage, Retail and Leisure.
He joined 3i in 2005 as a Partner and is based in 3i's Benelux office. He has been involved in a.o. Action, Amor, Hyva, ABX LOGISTICS, Azelis, Aviapartner and VNU Media. He currently serves on the Board of
Directors of Action, Basic Fit and Azelis.
Prior to joining 3i, Robert was a Partner at Permira. Beforehand Robert worked in private equity related finance areas at Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup) in London, Citibank in London and Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan) in New York.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a degree in Business Administration for the University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium), and a Law degree from the University of Louvain (Leuven, Belgium).
