Robert Thomas served as CEO of FoxHollow Technologies from March 2000 through December 2006, having previously served as the Company’s Vice President of Operations. Under Mr. Thomas’ leadership, FoxHollow executed one of the most successful new product launches in the history of the medical device industry, completed its initial public offering and
ultimately achieved a market capitalization of more than $1.2 billion prior to its sale to EV3 (now part of Covidien) in 2007.
Prior to FoxHollow, Mr. Thomas served as Vice President of Operations at Conceptus, the pioneer in minimally invasive device-based female sterilization, as well as the founder of TMP, Inc., a producer of medical devices in the anesthesiology, cardiology, and electrophysiology fields.
