Robert is joint CEO of The Up Group, and member of the Board.
He joined the company in 2013 from Bookatable, an online restaurant booking platform backed by Balderton Capital and Wellington Partners, where he served as COO.
Prior to this, Robert was the Head of Commerce Partnerships EMEA for Google and subsequently Principal, New Business Development. Previously, he was the co-founder and COO of Credit Market Analysis, now part of McGraw-Hill following a successful exit in 2008.
In his early career, Robert practised as a Barrister, having secured First Class degrees from Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
Robert is a venture partner in a VC fund, and a member of H2, the global digital executive network. He is also an active investor in, and mentor to, a number of successful start-ups. He has spoken at conferences across the world on a wide range of technology-related topics, and has been a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at London Business School
