Bob Swanson founded Ridgewood Energy, the first of the Ridgewood Companies, in 1982. In addition to serving as Chairman and CEO of Ridgewood Energy, he is Chairman of Ridgewood Capital Management. Since 1982, Bob has sponsored and has been a principal of private investment programs involved in power plants, related infrastructure projects, oil and
gas exploration and production and venture capital totaling nearly $2.7 billion.
Bob received a JD from Fordham University Law School and a BA from Amherst College.
