Rob has over 17 years of experience investing in and advising high growth companies primarily in the information technology, business services and healthcare services industries. Since joining Petra’s predecessor fund in 1996, Rob has participated in the sourcing, execution and management of 45 investments totaling more than $200 million of
invested capital. Prior to joining Petra, Rob served as an associate portfolio manager at Sirrom Capital Corporation, a publicly-traded mezzanine fund, and as an investment banker at Equitable Securities Corporation, where he advised numerous private and public company clients on capital raising and M & A transactions predominately in the healthcare services industry. Rob earned his M.B.A. at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and his B.S. in commerce at the University of Virginia. Rob currently serves as a director for Petra portfolio companies Mycroft, NuView Systems, MachSpeed Technologies, and GBS Enterprises.
