Robert Siekert spent the first part of his career traveling between the United States and China for work and school. He taught classes on a wide variety of subjects and assisted faculty in staff with publications, management, and course development. Robert’s expertise in working with students and staff from all age groups allowed him to teach
classes ranging from Kindergarten to upper-level management and he quickly became known for his ability to enact positive change wherever needed.
While the switch from educator to an administrator in a specialized nursing facility might seem like a significant leap, to Robert Siekert, it was a natural fit and one to which he was deeply connected. Robert grew up as the son of a nursing director and has fond memories of her work and the seniors he met along the way. Mr. Siekert thoroughly enjoys working with the senior population not only for their engaging stories but to learn about their life experiences. Once Robert moved back to the United States from China he obtained his license and began working as the Nursing Facility Administrator for the Huntsville Healthcare Center. After four years, Robert moved to Tacoma and accepted a position with Life Care Centers of America Federal Way.
