Born in 1964 in the USA, Mr Kossmann received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from North Texas University.
Prior to working for Raiffeisen International, Mr Kossmann acquired many years of diverse banking experience in locations ranging from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, to Moldova, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia.
He joined the Raiffeisen Bank Poland, in charge of SME crediting. Before joining Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Mr Kossman also worked at Raiffeisen International in Vienna for two years as head of SME Risk Management for the 15-bank Raiffeisen International Network.
From October 2005 to August 2007, he headed the SME business in Raiffeisen Bank Aval. In September 2007, Mr Kossmann was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board, responsible for the retail business development and the servicing of SME customers.
