Robert Karol is the VP of Engineering at Skyfront. Prior to joining Skyfront he worked as a senior controls engineer for Kespry where he designed a guidance, navigation, and control scheme for an electric quadcopter. He has over six years experience with drones and autonomous systems.
Robert received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with
minors in Aerospace Engineering and Control and Dynamical Systems from the California Institute of Technology. In collaboration with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab, he worked on projects ranging from from autonomous airships to robotic arms. He received a Masters in Aeronautics from Stanford, focusing on path planning and control systems for fixed-wing drones.
