As a Partner on the Biotech team at Deerfield since 2001, Bob provides extensive research and analysis on individual companies operating in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Deerfield, Bob was a healthcare analyst at Janus Capital from 1999 to 2001. Previously, he founded and managed a group ophthalmology practice. Bob earned his
undergraduate degree at Rollins College and his medical degree at West Virginia University.
He earned an M.B.A. with distinction from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, was a Cleveland Fellow from Case Western Reserve University, spent a year at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, completed his ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University and was Chief Resident in his final year. Bob is also a CFA charterholder.
