Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduating with a B.S. in Management & Marketing from Jacksonville University, Bob’s career began in the early 1980’s in the Sales & Marketing training program for which is now CSX Corporation, and later was promoted to Intermodal Pricing Manager then the Director of Intermodal Marketing in five short years. In
1986, Bob started Hub City Florida Terminals as one of the original 18 partners, helping build Hub City Florida Terminals and Hub Group into the largest Intermodal Marketing Company in the world. As President and Founder, Robert helped build Hub into one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America. After leaving Hub City in 1999, Bob did consultant work for various companies before helping found Simplified Logistics in 2002.
