Licensed attorney with operating experience in real estate development, finance, taxation, syndications, and real estate litigation and restructuring. An approved Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) developer, Robert Geringer is highly experienced in the development of single and multifamily residential, commercial, retail and
specialty use industrial real estate. Robert Geringer's project experience includes the formation, development, management, and continuing operation of commercial and residential real estate projects in California, Tennessee, Utah, Arizona, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Texas.
Under his direction, Geringer Capital has developed over 350,000 square feet of industrial space in the Los Angeles area, over 640 multi-family units, and six successful subdivisions of over 800 single family lots in several states. Robert Geringer has led the entitlement of over 5,000 acres of raw land for various end uses, often participating in the ultimate construction and/or development of the entitled land. Robert Geringer has extensive experience in acquiring distressed-debt properties through bankruptcy and from bank-owned portfolios (REOs), as well as through the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). Robert Geringer has designed, financed and constructed Class "A" multifamily projects.
Robert Geringer received his B.A. in Economics from UCLA in 1981, and his J.D. from Southwestern University in 1985. He also holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University. Robert Geringer has been a California Real Estate Broker since 1987.
