Robert E. Smith, Jr., MD, is the past President of South Carolina Oncology Associates PA, a 19 physician multi-specialty practice including medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology located in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Smith also is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, both in Columbia.
Dr. Smith is a magna cum laude graduate of Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. Dr. Smith earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in medical oncology at Dartmouth Hospitals in Hanover, New Hampshire.
