Robert is a seasoned executive with strong general management and financial experience who has had involvement at all levels in starting, building and turning around healthcare companies. Robert has extensive experience with public and private companies, corporate partnerships in the U.S., Europe and Japan, private and public fundraising, sale of
companies and product lines and the acquisition of companies and technologies. Companies for which Robert has served as chief financial officer include Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, Microsulis, Seragen, Circe Biomedical, I-STAT and Inkine. He was also chairman of the American Bicycle Group. Previously, Robert was a partner at Montgomery Ventures, a venture capital investor in medical and IT businesses. Robert earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his M.B.A. from Stanford University.
