Robert C. Jones has served as our Executive Vice President, Research and Development since August 2005.
From August 1984 to July 2005, Mr. Jones held various managerial and research and development positions at Applied Biosystems, a laboratory equipment and supplies manufacturer that is a division of Applera Corporation, including: Senior Vice
President Research and Development from April 2001 to August 2005; Vice President and General Manager Informatics Division from 1998 to 2001; and Vice President PCR Business Unit from 1994 to 1998.
Mr. Jones received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
