Mr. Burns has spent his entire career in health care information technology (HIT) management, beginning in in 1974 as programming manager for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He has been a development team leader for small and large team software development efforts on virtually every platform infrastructure, both in healthcare and other business
domains.
He has been a regional chief information officer (CIO) for MedPartners, a Fortune 100 physician management company, as well as CIO for Kelsey Seybold Clinic, a 400-provider multispecialty clinic in the Houston Medical Center and surrounding area.
Prior to joining our team, Mr. Burns has been a consultant focusing on electronic medical records (EMRs)/personal health records and practice management software application development and integration.
