Prior to joining Oxane, Rob was with Millennium Chemicals in the position of senior scientist where he was responsible for the design and development of yttria doped zirconia materials for thermal barrier coatings.
He also led the design team for the solid oxide fuel cell electrolyte materials project and was responsible for the design,
construction and commissioning of a pilot facility for commercialization of the fuel cell electrolyte material.
Rob earned a B.Sc.(Hon) and a Ph.D. from Curtin University of Technology in Australia in the field of flaw tolerant Functionally Graded Materials.
Rob has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in the areas of ceramic materials, strain analysis of ceramic systems and fracture mechanics of functionally graded materials.
