Robert leads the process engineering group for Stantec’s water sector. An expert in biological nutrient removal design, he has completed over 30 related projects for some of the largest and most complex plants in North America. His recent experience includes the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant, which treats wastewater from the U.S.
and Mexico and received three major industry awards, and the Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant, an enhanced nutrient removal facility that pushes the limits of conventional technology and discharges to the sensitive Chesapeake Bay watershed.
Rob has published numerous papers on biological nutrient removal, specifically nitrogen removal, and remains active in ongoing research and development. His expertise is well-known in the industry, leading to his selection as a technical reviewer for the WEF Manual of Practice No. 29 - Operations of Nutrient Removal Facilities.
