Rob has 15 years experience in high performance computing. His degrees in engineering and business have helped him understand the complex and compelling requirements of clients which has helped to propel his career.
Accomplishments include:
- Successfully built a new division and became the Director of Life Science at Platform Computing

Built the first operational, commercial GRID computing network in North America
- Supplied technology to the two global organizations that successfully won the race sequencing the human genome
- Signed technology agreements with four of the largest global pharmaceutical companies, assisting them to shorten their time to discovery by several years.
He maintains residence in the Boston, MA area and in Toronto Canada. To unwind, Rob enjoys mountaineering, white water canoeing, scuba diving, powder snow skiing, travel to remote regions of the world and spending time at his lake side cabin. Volunteer activity includes leadership with the Boy Scouts and membership with A.F.&A.M.
