Rob Potter is the Director of Engineering at Walmart Global Tech. He previously worked as the VP of Technology and Product at BlogHer.
Rob brings more than 19 years of software development, system architecture and engineering management experience to his role as BlogHer's Vice President of Technology. In this position, Rob oversees the
development and management of BlogHer's web properties, distributed publishing network of sites and its corporate infrastructure.
He has over 18 years of software development, system architecture, and engineering management experience. Rob is a strong advocate for cross-functional, Agile (Scrum), test-driven development to optimize software delivery.
Prior to founding Content Circles, he was Director of Engineering for the Xerox DocuShare Business Unit where he managed a team of 40 development, QA and customer support staff across North America, Europe and Asia. During his tenure with DocuShare, Rob led the engineering team through four major releases, including a complete rewrite of the application to scale for enterprise deployments.
Prior to DocuShare, Rob held a number of other Engineering positions at Xerox.
Rob received a BS in Computer Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
