Rob Mitchell is the co-founder and CEO of FT Longitude, a leading global provider of thought leadership and content marketing services to multinational clients. In 2018, Rob secured investment for Longitude from the Financial Times Group and, in 2022, Longitude became a fully owned subsidiary of the FT Group. Rob continues to work with clients on
their strategy for thought leadership, messaging and corporate narrative, helping them to create distinctive positioning that sets them apart in a highly competitive landscape. Prior to co-founding Longitude, Rob held a senior editorial role at the Economist Intelligence Unit, and prior to that he edited sponsored reports for the Financial Times, including the Mastering Management series. Rob has an MA in Classics from Oxford University and a Non-executive Director Diploma from the Financial Times.
