Robert P. Mainor has over 20 years of senior level executive experience in the communications industry.
Mr. Mainor has held strategic roles in marketing, sales, business development and operations and is considered a key pioneer in bringing VoIP to the masses. Prior to his appointment as EVP, Mr. Mainor was the co-founder and COO of SunRocket
where he grew the subscriber base from 0 to over 250,000 in less than 36 months.
Prior to SunRocket, Mr. Mainor was the President of Xpedite Systems, a $200M multi-modal communications services company. Mr. Mainor held senior executive positions with COLT Telecom Plc, Bell Atlantic and Compuserve. He earlier founded Seara Corp., which was acquired by CompuServe.
Mr. Mainor holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in economics and statistics from Auburn University.
