Rob has been at Lathrop for over 20 years, has extensive project management experience covering a wide range of disciplines and leads our design and engineering teams on a variety of complex and challenging development projects. Rob is highly experienced in developing medical devices for FDA compliance and FMEA and FEA analysis to ensure product
safety. He also serves as Quality Manager along with an internal team to maintain Lathrop's ISO 9001 certification.
Finding it important to give back to young engineers coming up in the ranks, Rob has been an active member at his alma mater, Santa Clara University, for more than 10 years. He contributes time, mentoring, and training as part of his activities on the Mechanical Engineering Industry Advisory Board at SCU. Rob has a B.S.M.E and M.S.M.E from the University of Santa Clara.
