Having graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Rob started his career with Halliburton, where he worked for seven years involved in several oil and gas projects, the Halliburton Dresser merger and a secondment to the British Embassy in Norway.
After completing his MBA, Rob joined AT Kearney as a management
consultant, where he led business improvement programmes for several blue chip companies including ChevronTexaco, BP, ICI and RWE npower. Later Rob moved to Alix Partners where he was a founder member of their UK Performance Improvement Practice, delivering business improvement projects, predominantly for private equity owned businesses.
Rob joined LDC in January 2008 and he works alongside portfolio management teams, pre and post-deal, to help identify and deliver business improvements that generate cash, increase operational efficiencies and drive revenue growth. Rob’s current board positions include Quantum Pharmaceutical, Emprise and L’esprit.
