Rob is an Infrastructure Administrator with Oilers Entertainment Group, who recently moved into their brand new arena, Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. An IT generalist with over 15 years’ experience in support and administration, with a strong focus on networking and virtualization, he has a wide variety of experience including Managed
Services, Education, and Sports Entertainment.
Rob is a constant learner, keeping up with networking, virtualization and whatever other technologies he finds shiny in his home lab and office, and is always pursuing that next certification. Presently he is trying to perfect a methodology for converting IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to metric.
At home he is a husband and father of two boys. In his free time he enjoys reading, hockey, video games, and cooking. Someday he hopes to be a contestant on Masterchef to fulfill his dream of being yelled at by Gordon Ramsay.
