Rida obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) in 2001. He then pursued an MSc degree in Computer Graphics with a focus on Geometry, Imaging and Virtual Environments, at Universiteit Utrecht (The Netherlands), graduating in 2006. This experience has created a passion for the field and in 2012, Rida
obtained his PhD degree in Image Processing and Computer Vision from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain). After his PhD, he worked on European funded projects at both Barcelona Media and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
