Rick is leading high-tech finance executive, with a proven track record of successful liquidity events. He joined Nexenta in October 2012 as CFO. Rick brings 26 years of experience to Nexenta as a senior leader in finance and accounting for both public and private companies. He oversaw the finance strategy and execution of the successful
acquisition of BlueArc by Hitachi Data Systems, and of Genesis Microchip by ST Micro, and was instrumental in the organizational readiness of these IPO-class companies. Rick served as BlueArc’s CFO through the Hitchi Data Systems acquisition, and was responsible for Finance, Human Resources and IT. He also served as CFO of Genesis Microchip and was responsible for all accounting, finance, business planning, treasury, tax, compliance, investor relations, and risk management.
