As a Principal Scientist at NRT, Rick is one of the leaders of our contaminated sediment management service area. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in sediment management and brings significant experience and creative scientific principles to the table as he assists clients with meeting challenges encountered while addressing
contaminated sediments issues. Our clients find he offers the right perspective needed on their projects, guidance that is tailored to the scale of the problem, and technical leadership on complex issues.
Rick has focused nearly his entire professional career on contaminated sediment issues. Whether a multi-site or multiphase program, his philosophy is to adaptively build on results from successive individual projects to better focus client resources and more efficiently manage contaminated sediment. He is Program Manager for our Great Lakes sediment remediation contract with USEPA’s Great Lakes National program Office. As a result, Rick further brings balanced perspective and state of practice knowledge in construction practices through affiliation with our highly qualified joint venture partners.
