Ever since Rick DeStefane founded his first company at the age of 10, cutting his neighbors’ lawns in his small Illinois hometown, he’s provided a high level of service with care and passion to the Midwest. Rick has over 65 operating entities combing 8 industries with a total of over 125 entities.

healthcare to elderly and mentally ill patients, with an emphasis on respecting the dignity of these often-overlooked citizens. In over 20 care centers, Rick DeStefane’s team gives those in need the caring, helping hand they deserve. In addition to Reliant, DeStefane’s business group’s extensive reach comprises over 4,000 employees statewide, with annual revenues reaching $200 million.
An MBA graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Rick DeStefane also earned two undergraduate degrees with honors from SIUE: in Business Management and Political Science. The St. Louis-adjacent school provided a well-rounded foundation for his leap into the professional world.
In addition to his businesses, Rick DeStefane serves on the board of a number of Missouri health organizations. He’s was the last Chairman of the board for the Surgery Center of North Central Missouri. Board Member of the Northeast Missouri Economic Development Council, and President of the Missouri Health Care Association, Co-founder and Board Member for The Business Bank of St. Louis, Vice-Chairman of the Board for St. Alexius Hospital, and. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board for The Surgery Center of Northcentral Missouri and Chairman of the Board for St. Alexius Hospital. His philanthropic outlays include the American Heart Association and various nursing homes and charitable centers providing aid for those in need.
A lifelong baseball fan, Rick is also the owner of the Hannibal Hoots of the collegiate Prospect League. Rick had an offer to play professional baseball and has played baseball at a high level. His other interests include American History, management theory, and political studies.
