Rick Caplan has over 20 years of experience in the origination, structuring, trading and distribution of complex financial products. Prior to founding CapRok, Rick was a Managing Director and co-head of the U.S. Structured Credit Products businesses, first at Citigroup and then RBS Greenwich Capital, where he ran a broad ranging business focused on
all aspects of various complex credit market oriented products that involved many different asset classes. In these roles, he was principally responsible for the development of several original product offerings that were broadly distributed across a varied fixed income investor base. Rick began his career practicing corporate law at Jones Day. His practice specialized in securitization and derivatives, and he primarily represented banks and other providers of capital.
