Rick joined start up Hero Productions in 1991 as one of three employees. By 1997 Hero Productions was a major uplink and master control origination facility in the Southeastern U.S. In 1997 GlobeCast acquired Hero Productions and Rick became Vice President of Operations, Southeast.
In
2000 Rick was responsible for the transmission of several major international network's Sydney Olympic backhaul as well as the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City.
In 2003 Rick became Vice President of Engineering and Operations for GlobeCast in which he was responsible for four satellite Earth Stations.
In 2006 Rick joined BEI as Vice President, South, at the same time BEI acquired The Miami Switch from GlobeCast.
