Richard Tom, also known as Rich, serves as a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Vessel Group, Inc. He served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Hulu, LLC until March 31, 2013. Richard Tom served as Vice President of Platform Technologies at Hulu, LLC. Richard Tom was responsible for all aspects of Hulu's core
technology and infrastructure. He joined Hulu in 2007 after spending 8 years at Microsoft in a variety of software development roles, from building database replication engines on the SQL Server team to leading a team of engineers architecting the business application platform for Office Live - one of Microsoft's first entry into software as a service. He served as Hulu's Vice President of Advertising Technology and Operations overseeing the development of Hulu's advertising platforms and leading the sales operations strategy. Richard Tom holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
