Richard E. Belluzzo joined the Company's Board in February 2005. He currently serves as Managing partner of Corso Partners LLC, where he consults with The Gores Group a private equity firm and Bravosolution, a private software company. From April 2011 to August 2012, he served as Executive Chairman of Quantum Corporation, a provider of backup,
recovery and archive products and services. From 2002 to 2011, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Corporation. Prior to that,Belluzzo was President and Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft").
Prior to becoming its President and Chief Operating Officer,Belluzzo served as Microsoft's group Vice President of the Personal Services and Devices Group, and was Group Vice President for the Consumer Group. Prior to Microsoft,Belluzzo was Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Graphics Inc. ("SGI").
Before SGI,Belluzzo held a series of increasingly senior roles at Hewlett Packard Company, culminating in his service as Executive Vice President of the Computer Products Organization.Belluzzo is currently a member of the board of directors , governance and nominating committee, and the audit committee of PMC-Sierra (Vancouver, Canada), and he is a member of the Board of Directors and the compensation committee at Infoblox. He is also on the board of directors of Cradlepoint, a 4G enterprise network provider.
The Board determined that Belluzzo's background and experience as the Chief Executive Officer of public companies, as well as his deep knowledge of the technology industry, senior leadership roles and service on the boards of other prominent public companies allow him to contribute significantly to the Board as Chairman and to its Compensation and Governance Committees.
