Richard (Rich) Couillard, B.Sc., P.Geol., is the President and Chief Executive Officer. Rich is a professional geologist who, after graduating in 1972 from Carleton University with a B.Sc. in Geology and Geophysics, spent over 20 years in a variety of professional and management roles in domestic and international activities with Chevron
Corporation.
In 1994 he was appointed Senior Vice President of Numac Energy Inc. with responsibility for all exploration and production activities.
He co-founded and was CEO of Escavar Energy Inc. from 2003 to 2008. For the past five years he has served as President and CEO of Rock Well Petroleum Inc. and in 2012 was appointed Executive Vice Chairman of Alpha PetroVision Holding AG. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Badger Daylighting Inc. and CanaSea Energy PTE Ltd.
