Richard Bishop is responsible for the delivery of the Business Growth Fund investment strategy and sits on the Investment Committee. He is based in Birmingham but works nationally through the five regional Directors. He also works on a national level with the BGF’s external partners.
Richard previously spent 21 years at 3i. He ran its Birmingham
Office prior to becoming a founding partner of 3i’s global Growth Capital business. He was responsible for the Global Growth Capital portfolio, and sat on the Board of four businesses where he made the original investments. He has a Banking and Finance degree from Birmingham University.
