As Co-President of Marketron Interactive, Rey Mena is responsible for guiding the division’s product development strategy and effort. Prior to joining Marketron, Rey was the Founder/Co-President of Emmis Interactive, Inc., a software company formed with the goal of empowering media companies with technology and sales strategies to help them
grow their digital businesses. During his 25+ years in the media industry, Rey has held senior leadership roles in television, radio and interactive media. Rey was an early online pioneer and thought-leader launching one of the first radio websites in the country in 1995, Alternative Rocker - Q101/Chicago.
Rey has been recognized with many industry awards for his achievements in marketing and branding. In 2009, he was named one of Radio Ink's "Tomorrow's Most Powerful People in Radio". In 2011, he was named a finalist of Radio Ink’s first-ever "Luminary Award". Rey attended the University of Illinois at Chicago.
