Reece Clementi was appointed Director Business Operations Government Technology Platforms in the NSW Department of Finance, Services & Innovation in September 2016. In this role he leads strategic evaluation, long term planning, initiation and effective and efficient delivery of major services/programs aligned with NSW Government
objectives. Specifically has responsibility for the design, development and maintenance of a range of significant and transformational whole of government business and software solutions for government licensing, compliance and shared systems of record with the aim to increase efficiency, public protection and satisfaction with services. Reece came to government with an extensive private sector career where he held a range of senior positions in the telecommunications and healthcare sectors. Reece spent six years as National Operations Manager for Telstra. In this role he led transformational change that saw the emergence of Telstra’s first consumer services offering today known as Telstra Platinum along with the formulation of Telstra’s flagship immersive experience centre targeted for Government, Enterprise and Business customers. Reece holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Central Queensland University.
