Ray is a 6th generation Californian who after graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and Economics started his career with EDS in Madrid, Spain. Specializing in accounting systems and controls, Ray later returned to school at UC Berkeley and went on to earn his CPA-having formal training in tax and US GAAP audits under the tutelage of
venerated CPA Firms: Hood and Strong, LLP and Shea, Labagh, Dobberstein, CPA. In 1999 he became the Accounting Manager for Pets.com helping engineer $250MM in public and private financing and automating over 20,000 feet of supply chain and warehousing management systems. He was then the first Controller for Snapfish.com where he established accounting systems and was the first Worldwide Controller for GNX.com-a $150MM global SaaS firm. He was also the Controller and CFO for CT Space-a multinational SaaS concern where he helped orchestrate and integrate an international merger across eight corporations and four currencies that culminated in a multi-million dollar exit.
