Ray Lam joined Palisade Capital in May 2012 as Senior Vice President of Convertible Securities, reporting to Elliot Stiefel, Managing Director of Convertible Securities. Mr. Lam’s responsibilities include security selection for both the long only and convertible arbitrage portfolios with a focus on the energy sector.
Prior to joining the firm,
Mr. Lam worked at Amida Capital Management where he was a credit analyst for their convertible arbitrage strategy. In this role, he recommended convertible arbitrage trades based on fundamental credit analysis. Prior to Amida, Mr. Lam was a credit analyst on the convertible arbitrage team at both AM Investment Partners and Arbitex Asset Management.
Mr. Lam received his M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the Stern School of Business at New York University and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. Mr. Lam is a CFA Charterholder.
