Ray has worked in the electrical services industry for more than 25 years. From apprentice electrician to business leader he has seen the standby power industry change and been involved with some of the largest and most prestigious UPS installations in the UK.
After 10 years with one of the largest UPS companies overseeing the installations and
maintenance of equipment in Data Centres, financial institutions’, medical and telecoms centres Ray left to set up a service and installation company (GR Solutions) that is still operating 11 years on.
He founded Metartec when he saw the opportunity in a changing market place for a low overhead high credence supplier to supply equipment and services.
