Ravi holds a Masters in Science from Madras University, is a graduate of the National Defence Academy and an alumnus of the prestigious Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He retired as a Flight Navigator from the Indian Air Force with 23 years of commissioned service and over 4200 hours of flying on four different aircraft types.
He has
been a DGCA certified Navigation and Aircraft Performance Instructor at Air India (erstwhile Indian Airlines) and the Chief Ground Instructor at the CAE run National Flying Training Academy at Gondia (India). He is an alumnus of the Singapore Aviation Academy where he trained and obtained his qualification as an ICAO PANS OPS Instrument Procedure Designer in 2002. He also headed the Systems & Operations Control Centre at Deccan Cargo & Express Logistics prior to joining SDS.
Ravi joined SDS in 2011 and leads the Flight Planning & Dispatch (FPDS) team at SDS which is responsible for the design, development, upgradation and implementation of all Flight Planning projects.
