Ravi co-leads investments in the Biotechnology Venture Fund, and work closely with companies in the organic food, medical devices and health insurance space. Prior to joining Ventureast, he worked as a Product Design Scientist for the Ariel and Bold detergent brands at Procter and Gamble, Japan K.K. He focused on understanding needs of the Japanese
consumer and formulating the product to meet those needs. Some of the products designed have helped Ariel leapfrog to market leadership position.
Ravi was involved in starting NIIT's elearning retail business - training.com as a part of the core business team. His role included formulating the business strategy as well as online marketing of the portal. His product design and entrepreneurial experience lends strength to the Ventureast team.
Ravi has an MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB, Hyderabad) where he featured in the Dean's list. His graduate education was from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in Chemical Engineering, where he stood first in his class. Ravi's interests include trekking and watching movies of all genres.
