Parisian born and bred, Rapha moved to Israel to study Electrical Engineering at the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), specializing in Digital Signal Processing and Information Theory.
After working for global companies as an Algorithms Engineer, he co-founded a company in the algo-trading space, where he served as a CTO. He then joined
DesignArt Networks as Head of Product to build the first 4G base stations in the market. The company was acquired by Qualcomm in 2012 to lead its infrastructure strategy.
Following those two exits, Rapha went back to the corporate world and joined Google as a Product Manager in 2015 and Waze a year later as Product Lead for the newly-launched Waze Carpool, before leading all Waze Product efforts from 2018 to 2021.He is the inventor of the HOSKR framework for product development.
Rapha is the husband of one and the father of four and currently lives in Israel’s countryside amongst vineyards and palm trees.
