Mr. Lal is the General Partner and manages the day-to-day activities of the Fund at Mosaix Ventures.
Prior to founding Mosaix Ventures, Mr. Lal was a senior investment professional with Vector Fund Management and UBS O'Connor for eight years where his responsibilities included healthcare investing in private and public equities
respectively. Prior to this, Mr. Lal worked in management consulting with McKinsey & Company for five years.
Mr. Lal received his MBA from the University of Chicago, and MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering fromPennsylvania State University and the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee respectively. Mr. Lal has served on numerous private companies Boards and currently serves as a Director with Argo Tea, ConsumerMed, GenomeQuest and KnowledgeAdvisors.
Mosaix exited investments include ACIST Medical (a medical device maker acquired by the Bracco Group), American WholeHealth Networks (a leading provider of integrative medicine services acquired by Axia Health Management, which subsequently merged with Healthways NASDAQ:HWAY) and Omnicell (a clinical automation provider).
