Mr. Lipps founded Omnicell, Inc., a leading provider of medication and supply management solutions to healthcare systems, in September 1992 and has been Chairman of the Board since that time.
He assumed the additional role of President and Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and has provided the leadership for Omnicell’s business expansion.
Since
2003, Omnicell has been recognized as one of the top 150 Silicon Valley companies, as measured by market capitalization, by the San Jose Mercury News.
Prior to founding Omnicell, he served as the Senior Vice President at ST Holdings, a travel and marketing company.
Mr. Lipps holds a BS in Economics and a BBA from Southern Methodist University.
