Randolph 'Stick' Ware is the founder and chief scientist at Radiometrics. R. ‘Stick’ Ware has broad experience in atmospheric remote sensing. He founded and directed the UNAVCO, GPS/MET and SuomiNet scientific research programs at UCAR. These groups pioneered ground and space-based atmospheric sensing with GPS and proved the radio
occultation concept now used by COSMIC and three satellite companies. He served as a U.S. Marine, holds an experimental nuclear physics doctorate from the University of Colorado, and served as a U.S. Congressional Science Fellow. Stick has a long history with beer. He founded Boulder Beer, the country’s oldest surviving post-prohibition microbrewery. He also sings bass with Wizard Oil, a drinking and eating group with a singing problem.
