20 years of experience in Research and Development management and technology, leading complex multidiscipline projects from initial idea up to mass production. Prior to founding optiQGain Ram was COO and VP R&D of Winetworks, a wireless communication system start-up acquired by RuggedCom. Earlier, Ram served 7 years at various managerial roles
in the Cellular and Handheld Group in Intel corporation. Ram joined Intel as part of DSPC acquisition (1999, $1.6B acquisition), where he served as DSPC’s VP R&D, responsible for the development of 4 different cellular chipset and managed more than 200 R&D people.
Ram holds B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and EMBA, both from Tel Aviv University.
