Holds a doctorate in chemistry specializing in the chemistry of natural substances and a master’s degree in organic chemistry delivered from the University of Sfax-Tunisia. His research focused on the phytochemical and biological study of medicinal plants. He did a post-doctorate for one year at the organic chemistry laboratory of the University of
Sfax. Currently, he holds the position of phytochemist researcher at Torskal since October 2019.
His expertise covers chromatographic methods (HPLC, UPLC, CPC, semi-preparative and preparative HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, TLC-MS) and the characterization of plant biomolecules using several spectroscopic techniques namely NMR 1D and 2D, IR, UV and HR-MS. He is the co-author of several publications.
