Pushpesh Sharma is Chief Research Data Scientist and Co-Founder of Inveniam. He is responsible for the formulation of algorithms for large-scale production forecasting and data analytics at the firm. Mr. Sharma completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Houston specializing on the application of enhanced oil recovery in the
extraction of unconventional resources. During his PhD he also worked with Ryder Scott LP on improving their production forecasting tools.
Mr. Sharma has an interest in working on the applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence in oil and gas sector. Mr. Sharma is an active member of SPE GCS Data Analytics Study Group which serves to organize events around the latest advancements in ‘Big data analytics in Oil and Gas’. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals related to reservoir and production engineering and environmental technology. He was named SPE The Way Ahead Energy Influencer 2020.
