Priyadarshini Sanjay is the Managing Director of Mercom Communications India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercom Capital Group. Priya brings over 5 years of experience in corporate communications and client relations.
Priya supports Mercom's communication programs in the U.S. and globally. In her current position as Managing Director of
Mercom Communications India she oversees Mercom's India operations and has been instrumental in securing coverage in most of the top mainline Indian media and in the media markets of Africa and the Middle East.
Priya also brings an extensive network of relationships with both media and government leaders, which she has cultivated over the past decade. Priya is extremely well-known in the Indian cleantech sector and has a deep understanding of Indian cleantech markets and policies.
Prior to Mercom, Priya held the position of Chief Operating Officer at SM Sanjay and Co., an investment consultancy firm in Bangalore. She received her bachelor's degree from Vidya Vardhaka College of Arts in Bangalore, India for Political Science and Economics and completed her Masters in Business Administration from Bangalore University.
